5/8/2020 0 Comments Nazism Versus StalinismNazism Versus StalinismHas Nazism (Naziism) or Stalinism (Stalinism) finally infiltrated our college campuses? Of course it is not new to college campuses, just a new form of abuse. Here are a few paper topics for you to discuss:
Nazism was Hitler's belief that one's race is the key to success. Hitler's ideas were transformed to socialism with the help of Karl Marx and Fascist economics. Marxism however is not totally a false ideology, but it was not socialism as described by the international socialist movement. Stalin thought that only one race could survive and become successful in society. Communism does not necessarily mean 'collectivism.' It has the same definition as Marxism except that capitalism and Marxism are substituted. Stalin's population control programs and thought that the Soviet Union would rule the world. Stalin became more repressive and purged those he thought were weak or corrupt and began to repress political thought on college campuses as well. If that doesn't show up on a curriculum, there should be a special committee appointed to study it. And if I were a student, I'd like to know that my professors are all purging me before I get there! Dictators are people who believe they know better than you how to run your life. That is called a dictatorship and that is what is happening here. Free thought, free speech, and other rights are all being taken away from college students. Students are required to express political views they don't agree with and are prevented from questioning their professors as well. The problem with a totalitarian society is that people will always want to do the best they can. Unfortunately this can create a problem when people don't have the freedom to speak freely and even criticize those who have power over them. Not every dictator wants to kill his citizens, but they want to keep them contained and under their control. Not every communist regime wanted to destroy Western civilization, but it is what they did. Stalinism and Nazism are both illegitimate systems of government. Students who are discussing these topics on their college campuses are being brainwashed into thinking they must support one side or the other or else they are racist, sexist, or otherwise wrong.
